This shot shows the hood of a 1959 Corvette Stingray Special Racer that was on display at the 2008 Concours d'Elegance held at Meadowbrook Hall near Rochester Hills, Michigan. In 1960, the car won the Sports Car Club of America C-Modified class championship and the design was used in the early 60's redesign of the Corvette.
