Artist's Description
This image shows the Alumni Memorial Hall on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Most people know this building as the Museum of Art, but the building was originally conceived and built as a memorial to University men who had died in the Civil War (and eventually other wars). The image itself was a long exposure taken late in the day. The afternoon sun was just peeking through to shine on the western face of the building.
