Description
The Michigan Theater, located near the campus of the University of Michigan, is a classic old time theater built in the 20's. The theater was threatened with demolition several years ago, but through the efforts of the community, the theatre was saved and restored. A crowning achievement was the installation of the 'old' marquee to replace one which had been installed in the 50's.
